Royal College of Dentists of Canada
The Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC) was established in 1965 to promote high standards of specialization in the dental profession and to recognize properly trained dental specialists. Successful completion of the RCDC examination process created specifically for each dental specialty may eventually provide participants the status of Fellowship in the College and the use of the designation FRCD(C).
The objectives of the College are:
(a) to promote high standards of specialization in the dental profession;
(b) to set up qualifications for and provide for the recognition and designation of properly trained dental specialists;
(c) to encourage the establishment of training programs in the dental specialties in Canadian schools; and
(d) to provide for the recognition and designation of dentists who possess special qualifications in areas not recognized as specialties.

Le Collège royal des dentistes du Canada (CRDC) a été constitué en 1965, afin de promouvoir les plus hauts standards de spécialisation dans la profession dentaire, et de reconnaître les dentistes spécifiquement diplômés. Le fait de compléter avec succès le processus d'examens du CRDC, conçu exclusivement pour chaque spécialité dentaire, peut éventuellement conférer aux participants le statut de "Fellow" du Collège, ainsi que l'usage du titre FRCD©
Les objectifs du Collège sont :
(a) promouvoir les plus hauts standards de spécialisation dans la profession dentaire.
(b) établir les qualifications requises et offrir la reconnaissance et la désignation des dentistes spécialistes détenant un diplôme spécifique.
(c encourager l'établissement de programmes d'études en spécialités dentaires dans les universités canadiennes, et
(d) offrir la reconnaissance et la désignation aux dentistes qui possèdent des qualifications spéciales, dans des domaines non reconnus comme spécialités.
