Speakers include medical professionals from the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario: Dr. Michelle Ward, Dr. Michael Vassilyadi, Dr. Kevin Butterfield, Dr. William Splinter and guest speakers Dr. Martha Ann Keels, Dr. Caven Brunsden and Dr. J.P. Souaid.
Topics range from medical implants and their implications for dentistry to the dental dilemma in treating the autistic patient as well as other hot topics including GERD, craniofacial trauma and sleep apnea.
As well as great speakers we also have some fun events planned for you - from the CAPD Run along the Rideau Canal; a visit to the renowned Canadian Aviation Museum for a welcome reception, entertainment and tour of the museum. You will also have the opportunity to take a ride in a Cessna or helicopter.
We have not forgotten your spouses and guests. Activities include trolley ride and tour of Gatineau Park to take in the spectacular fall foliage and tour of Mackenzie King Estate or relaxing at Le Nordik Spa. Look for all the details coming to you in the mail soon.
We have some special entertainment booked for the President's Dinner but you will have to attend to find out what it is!

CONFERENCE ANNUELLE DE L'ACDP/CAPD 2010
Les conférenciers incluent les professionnels de la sante de l'Hôpital pour Enfants de l'Est de l'Ontario: Dr. Michelle Ward, Dr. Michael Vassilyadi, Dr. Kevin Butterfield, Dr. Willaim Splinter et les invités spéciaux : Dr. Martha Ann Keels, Dr. Caven Brunsden et Dr. J. P. Souaid.
Les sujets varient d'implants médicaux et leurs implications pour la médecine dentaire au traitement des patients autistiques et beaucoup d'autres sujets intéressants y compris le reflux gastro œsophagien, les traumatismes craniofacials et l'apnée du sommeil.
En plus des conférences, nous avons aussi planifié pour vous des événements amusants - ACDP/CAPD run along, une course le long du canal Rideau, une visite au musée canadien de l'Aviation pour une réception de bienvenue; de l'animation et une tournée du musée. Vous aurez aussi l'opportunité de faire un tour de Cessna ou d'hélicoptère.
Nous n'avons pas oublié vos invités et conjoints. Les activités incluent un tour de trolley et une tournée du Parc de Gatineau pour admirer le spectaculaire feuillage d'automne et la visite du domaine Mackenzie King ou une journée de détente à la station Le Nordik Spa.
